Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has reacted to the Facebook post of a man who said he can not wait to hear about his death.
The man, named Chijioke had posted a comment on one of Omokri’s post on Facebook accompanied with a photo of the ex-presidential aide.
“This your photo is good for Obituary. That’s how your followers will post your photo saying RIP Reno. Can’t wait,” the man’s comment reads.
Sharing a screenshot of Chijioke’s wish, Omokri penned down a long reply to him.
According to him, death is inevitable, adding it is not such a big deal.
“My wife has instructions to wrap me in white linen and put me in the grave on the same day I die,” he revealed.
He opined that people pass away daily and it takes only the grace of God that “we resurrect from death when we wake up.”
Omokri claimed that approximately 200,000 people will not awaken from sleep every day.
“So, whether I live or die is in God’s Hands, and what photo is used for my burial is not as important as the fact that I have lived a fulfilled life,” he noted.
“Everybody will die fully one day. But not everybody will live fully. And I thank God that I am one of those who lived and thrived. Whether alive or dead, it is to the glory of God.
“Thanks again, and may God bless you.”
