Ronaldo accused of public genital touching, urged to be deported from Saudi Arabia

A Saudi Arabian lawyer, Nouf bin Ahmed has demanded the deportation of Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo for allegedly making obscene gestures during a match in the country.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Ronaldo was playing for Al Nassr against Al Hilal on Tuesday when the incident occurred.

He was reportedly almost sent off for putting an opponent in a headlock, and then allegedly made an obscene gesture upon hearing chants in favor of rival Lionel Messi.

Mrs. Ahmed made the call for deportation via her Twitter account, and her stance has received support from some members of the Saudi public.

“It’s considered a crime of public dishonor, and it is one of the crimes that entails arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,” she wrote

Al Nassr has not yet commented on the incident, but according to reports, the club has explained that Ronaldo made the gesture in response to being hit in the genitals during the game.
