Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has claimed that the Saudi Pro League is better than the Major League Soccer (MLS) in America, which his contemporary, Lionel Messi, just moved to.
Ronaldo’s comments comes just few hours after his career-eternal rival, Lionel Messi, signed for Inter Miami in the MLS.
Messi left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer and refused to move to Saudi Pro League, where he would have continued with his rivalry with Ronaldo.
However, the Portuguese captain insisted he made the better choice, pointing to players flocking to the Middle East as proof.
“Saudi league is better than MLS. I opened the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players are coming here,” Ronaldo bragged.
