Muhammed Sanusi II, the former emir of Kano went to through a roller coaster of emotion following his removal as the emir of Kano by the government of the stay.

Mr Sanusi was dethroned by Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje over alleged insubordination and disrespect to “constituted authorities”.
He was forced out of his palace and sent on exile. On the same day, the state government appointed Aminu Ado Bayero as the new emir
Mr Sanusi arrived in Loko, a town in Nasarawa State, to which he was banished. He got to the place around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
On the eve of that day, he was moved to Awe, another village with better amenities. At Awe, security operatives harassed his visitors.
On the same day, he got two appointments from Nasir El-Rufai, governor of Kaduna State.
Mr Sanusi approached a Federal High court to challenge his banishment.
His books were also completely moved out of the palace on Wednesday while Mr El-Rufai announced that he will be visiting the ex-monarch in Awe.
An Abuja High court order the release of Mr Sanusi from illegal detention and upon the visit of Mr El-Rufai, they both left Awe to Abuja.
The Lagos State University (LASU) all announced that Mr Sanusi will chair his forthcoming convocation.
Mr Sanusi left Abuja for Lagos where he re-united with his family on Friday.
