Sanwo-Olu hosts former Lagos PDP guber candidate

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday played to the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Azeez Adediran.

Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, joined the governor at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

In a post made on X, Jandor said he used the opportunity to appreciate Governor Sanwo-Olu for his calmness and humility through the last election process and campaign.

His words, “During the meeting, I appreciated Governor Sanwoolu for being a gentleman, who despite all we threw at him during the electioneering process, exhibited unprecedented calmness.”

Jandor also informed the governor that he left the PDP for the All Progressives Congress (APC) because of the strides recorded by President Bola Tinubu.

According to Jandor, it is obvious that the president has taken a tough decision to ensure Nigeria is placed on a path of growth.

“Our discussions were both insightful and forward-looking, centered on strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the socio-economic resilience of Lagos State.

“I am grateful for the warm hospitality extended to my team and me, and for the opportunity to engage in a robust exchange of ideas on areas of mutual interest,” Jandor noted.
