The Osun State branch of Social Democratic Party (SDP) has reacted to the defection of some politicians to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The State Chairman of SDP, Sola Oladeinde, described those that left the party for PDP as political scavengers saying they had embarked on journey to perdition.
He made this known during a parley with journalists in Osogbo, the state capital on Thursday.
POLITICS NIGERIA on Wednesday, reported how some members of the party held rally in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Amongst the defectors are some former members of SDP led by factional chairman, Dr. Bayo Faforiji, former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Secretary to State State Government and Governorship Candidate of ADC, Alhaji Fatai Akinade Akinbade.
Oladeinde noted that those that decamped from SDP to PDP are handful and insignificant, said that the decampees have based their style of politics on scavenging, looking for what to eat to sustain themselves.
According to him, “it is an open secret that the expectation of their arrrow head and others regarding torren of money could not be met in SDP, hence the scavenging for money.”
“However, if you need to eat toad, the ideal thing is to eat the one with eggs. A reasonable politician should not consider moving into PDP because of the dangerous and incurable intra party war.”
He then warned that the leadership of the PDP should be wary of the antics of these new members into its fold so that they will not turn the already chaotic situation in the party into coronavirus that will spell doom for the party.
Good talk. I totally agree with you sir. These set of politicians are only looking for where to steal money. Honestly speaking as you have said sir, they are scavengers headed by Scavenger Olagunsoye Oyinlola. All of them politically, they are finished.
