Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has reacted to the passing of the former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
Igboho, a Yoruba nation activist said the late former president was a “criminal” who did everything within his power to assassinate him.
Barely hours after Buhari’s passing, Igboho alleged that the former president had directed the Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigerian military to kill him in a July 1, 2021, midnight raid if his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He claimed that the invasion of his home which led to the killing of many followed his agitation for the Yoruba Nation.
While he managed to escape the attack, the Yoruba Nation agitator noting that Buhari has died while he is still alive said, “Can you see life?”
Speaking to some of his supporters, Igboho alleged that some people of Yoruba descent collaborated with Buhari to kill him then.
He said, “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I thank God for my life today. My people, Buhari has died, see life. The Buhari criminal man who sent DSS and military to come and kill me in the middle of the night on July 1st, 2021.
“He died today (Sunday), see life. My people we’re supposed to learn about his death, that criminal man ‘Muhammadu Buhari ‘ has died and see I’m still alive today. I thank God, God thank you for sparing my life till today (He died today (Sunday).
“Such is life. My people, we ought to reflect on his death. That criminal man, Muhammadu Buhari, is gone—and yet here I am, still alive today. I thank God. Lord, thank You for sparing my life until this moment).
“Criminal Fulani man that is with some stupid Yoruba people who gang up and come to my house in the middle of the night and try to take my life. However, God said no, if God said yes nobody can say no but God said no. See life, Buhari has died today, see God, God I thank you,” Igboho said.
