The former governor of Oyo state, Chief Abiola Ajimobi is alive and recuperating from illness.
On Thursday evening, reports of Ajimobi’s death hit social media with many mourning the politician’s demise. However, his media aide, Bolaji Tunji, called on the general public to ignore the report.
Tunji disclosed that Ajimobi was sick after testing positive for coronavirus. POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that he was previously in a coma but was reported to have regained consciousness and is responding well to treatment.
