A former minister of education in Nigeria, Obiageli Ezekwesili has reacted to the ongoing saga between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central and the Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Ezekwesili assured Akpoti-Uduaghan of her support in the ongoing trial and investigations over the sexual harassment allegation against the Senate President.
In a post made on X on Wednesday, March 5, the former minister said Akpoti-Uduaghan will never walk alone.
A strong advocate for women’s empowerment and good governance and the co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Ezekwesili wrote on X, “Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan @NatashaAkpoti. You. Will. Never. Walk. Alone.”
The post on X was accompanied by two photos of the Kogi Central Senator.
Recall that Akpoti-Uduaghan had accused the Senate President of sexually harassing her at various occasions.
The female Kogi senator also alleged that the Senate President has resorted to intimidating and undermining her efforts to represent her constituents at the Red Chamber after she refused his sexual advances towards her.
