A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has expressed shock over the killing of Major General Hassan Ahmed in Abuja.
According to reports, Ahmed and his sister were coming from Okene when the unfortunate incident occured on Thursday night.
The former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army was assassinated while his sister was abducted by the gunmen.
Reacting to the killing, Sani expressed worry that such happened to a man of high ranking in the nation’s capital.
“The killing of Major General Hassan Ahmed and the kidnapping of his wife right in Abaji, Abuja is sad, unfortunate and tragic.
“That this can happen to a man of such ranking within the vicinity of the capital city tells it all. May he rest in Aljanna firdausi. Amin,” he tweeted.
