Nigerian internet sensation and singer Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington has been declared wanted.
The singer was declared wanted by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) on Friday, June 27, 2025.
In a statement issued on its social media pages, NAPTIP said Speed Darlington is wanted over alleged rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.
The government agency also called on Nigerians and the general public to assist NAPTIP in locating the musician.
“WANTED BY NAPTIP. Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking. Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately via 07030000203 or info@naptip.gov.ng,” the agency wrote on Instagram.
This declaration by NAPTIP follows Speed Darlington’s failure to honour the agency’s invitation.
The agency had earlier invited the singer to its office following his disclosure that he was engaged in a sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.
In its previous notice of invitation to the singer, NAPTIP had asked him to visit its Abuja headquarters for interrogation and investigation on the matter.
He was asked to visit the agency’s office at 9 am on March 30, 2025, but failed to honour the invitation.
