Sowore reveals real location of alleged cyberstalker, Chude

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) on Friday said Nnamdi Chude, a Nigerian youth who was arrested and detained for alleged cyberstalking, was found at the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Chude was arrested in Onitsha, Anambra State on March, 18, 2023 by police operatives and transferred to Abuja, the Nigerian capital city.

Chude had tweeted that the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) had brought Anambra State back to the era of ballot box snatching during the recently concluded state election. Many people said he was arrested due to his anti-government stances.

Reacting to Chude’s incarceration, Sowore said the embattled tech expert is in high spirits, and is set for release.

“#FreeChude: We traveled round @PoliceNG departments and units today in search of @chude__Chude Nnamdi in Abuja. We finally found him at the FCIID cell in Abuja. I also spoke to his case officers from the Cybercrime unit at the @INTERPOL in Abuja. It heartwarming that @chude__is positively in high spirits.

“His lawyers have processed his release paperwork and he’s expected to be released today from @PoliceNG detention.

“It is a high-profile conspiracy with the usual suspects involved at all levels to silence the young man!” Sowore wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
