‘Steer clear of trouble as you clock 60’ – Osinbajo tells Dele Momodu

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has advised the publisher of Ovation International magazine, Dele Momodu to steer clear of trouble as he celebrates his 60th birthday.

Born in 1960, Mr Momodu is a Nigerian journalist, publisher, businessman, and motivational speaker.

The renowned publisher contested in the 2011 presidential election alongside President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Colleagues, friends and relatives of Mr Momodu have sent him tributes and encomiums. This includes President Muhammadu Buhari and former Senate President Bukola Saraki.

In a video clip obtained on Saturday, Mr Osinbajo hailed the former Presidential candidate over his consistency in contributing to public affairs.

“You told me you were going to run for president and that you are going to rely on social media to reach young people. Despite the huge odds, you took on the challenge.

“Anyway today, I think all will agree that Dele Momodu continues to be an important voice in public affairs and a true Nigerian Patriot. I wish you many more creative and productive years of service in your engagements in public affairs and to the Nigerian people.

“So, Bob Dee, now that you’re 60, no more trouble making. Just take it easy,” Osinbajo said jokingly.
