A former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu has urged ex-president Muhammadu Buhari to desist from lying about his wealth.
Odinkalu in a post on X said the former president was no longer running for office and should quit deceiving people about his wealth or its source.
The former president even before running for office had said that he only had 150 cows and his family House in Katsina.
In a recent speech this past week, the former president staged that his family only relies on the income from his two rented houses in Kaduna State.
Buhari said, “I did not corruptly enrich myself as president.”
However, in his post on X, Odinkalu said, “Someone should please tell Muhammadu Buhari that he is no longer running for the office of Messiah, therefore, no longer has any need to keep lying about his earthly acquisitions.”
To him he is not lying. A typical deceptive ‘takia ‘ talking lifestyle of his kind, well known to all Nigerians. YEYE DE SMELL!!!
Who’s financing his wife stay in Arab Emirate ?
PMB may not be corrupt but those around him were corrupt and that makes culpably corrupt.
Since I started reading about him I had consistently said he had two houses in Kaduna and one in Daura.
Even if didn’t corruptly erinch himself his benefits as a retired general and former military head of state before he became civilian president guarantees him amd his immediate family a comfortable life.
He is been lying and deceiving many who saw him as god without stain when infact it’s far the opposite. I thank God he came on board as president and the veil removed, it became clear of the rots he had. The first biggest corruption of 2.8bn in 1976 who was the federal commissioner of petroleum? I said it before Idiagbon was the engine and saint of the government in which Buhari was head of state soon the breeze would blow.
