Sunday Igboho attacks Olubadan, See why [VIDEO]

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, fondly called Sunday Igboho, has berated the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, for conferring the chieftaincy titles of Are Fiwajoye and Yeye Aare Fiwajoye on the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his wife, Hajiya Hafsat Umar Ganduje.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Balogun said the choice of the recipients was based on merit not monetary inducement.

The Olubadan, who made the clarification this weekend at ancient Mapo hall in Ibadan, Oyo State, submitted that Ibadan Chieftaincy titles, either traditional or honorary, are not for sale.

Describing the title as a bridge between the South West and North West, Balogun explained that the conferment would not only further cement the bond of friendship that has long existed between Ibadan and Kano people.

But Igboho is displeased with the honour bestowed on Governor Ganduje, saying it is “totally wrong”.

In a video sighted by this newspaper on Saturday, the separatist leader who spoke in Yoruba, wished Oba Francis Olushola Alao, the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, a happy birthday, while insisting on ‘Yoruba Nation’.
