Nigeria’s star forward Victor Osimhen is set to miss next month’s crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin due to an injury.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) announced that Osimhen will be sidelined for at least four weeks.
In light of Osimhen’s absence, Enugu Rangers defender Kenneth Igboke has been called up to take his place in the squad.
Igboke, a left back, is getting his maiden Super Eagles call-up by Coach Finidi George.
