The Vice President Kashim Shettima has informed the Islamic Development Bank that now is the best time to invest in Nigeria.
Shettima said that the foundation laid by President Bola Tinubu through the Renewed Hope agenda has addressed some of the grey areas which served as disincentives to prospective investors.
Speaking at the Presidential Villa when a delegation from the Islamic Development Bank paid him a courtesy visit, Shettima said the present administration under President Tinubu is creating a conducive environment for investors.
The delegation was led by the Head of its Regional Hub, Hammad Hundal.
Shettima said, “The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has created the enabling environment and is still doing so by addressing most of the grey areas that hitherto served as a disincentive. So, this is a great time to invest in Nigeria.
“This administration is poised to address the challenges that we have in key areas of human capital development, financial inclusion, infrastructure and nutrition.
“In fact, we have no option but to address most of these issues, and we will continue to act in the right direction,” Shettima said.
The vice president also said that the President Tinubu-led administration has continued to improve on various issues including nutrition, education, digital trade, agriculture, among others.
He said the administration will continue in its efforts to address issues that affect the nation’s development and attract investors.
