“Thought only bandits abduct at churches, mosques” — Sani aims subtle dig at Nigerian police

The former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, on Tuesday criticised the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for their style of operation nowadays.

Although, Sani did not mention any name, it was obvious he was commenting on the recent controversial arrest of a son-in-law of former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha.

Despite the fact that Nwosu has been released, reactions to his forceful seizure on Sunday has not stopped.

“I thought it’s only Bandits that can invade Churches and Mosques for abduction,” Sani wrote on his known Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, the acting national youth leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide (ONW), Jones Onwuasoanya called out the Nigerian police over the manner of arrest of the ex-governor aspirant.

He condemned the way the police stormed into the church while service was ongoing, shooting sporadically.
