President Bola Tinubu has celebrated the Christian virtues of the wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Folu Adeboye, as she turns 75 today.
The President’s Special Adviser for Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake, in a statement, admired the initiatives of the church championed by Mrs Adeboye, which are directed at helping drug addicts and the underprivileged.
Tinubu, who extolled the virtues of Mrs Adeboye, expressed delight in her devotion to the work of God, family, and the oppressed, coupled with Adeboye’s generosity of spirit and steadfast commitment to seeing that young people live value-guided life will continue to be a guide and beacon to many.
Tinubu stressed that many lives have been turned around for good through her many philanthropic works and that of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Mrs Adeboye, who turned 75 on Thursday, has been married to RCCG General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye for over 50 years.
