Doyin Okupe, a former director general of the Peter Obi presidential campaign has said that President Bola Tinubu has placed Nigeria on a transformative path.
Okupe said this while reacting to the rehabilitation and commencement of operations at the Port Harcourt refinery as claimed by the Nigerian government.
In a statement issued on Monday, the former presidential spokesperson congratulated Tinubu and the leadership of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
He said, “President Tinubu’s reform agenda has, without question, set Nigeria on a transformative path.”
Describing the revitalization of the Port Harcourt Refinery as a critical national asset, Okupe said the recent operation is an attestation to the President’s unwavering resolve and steadfast commitment to the nation’s progress.
He added that this show that the president is zealous in his determination to address the structural deficiencies that have long plagued Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
