A House of Representatives member-elect who won his election on the platform of the Labour Party LP, Godwin Ogar, has said some nice words about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
After meeting with the President, Ogar, who will represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State in the 10th House of Representatives, said he was proud to listen to Tinubu.
He made the remarks during a chat with reporters on Friday, June 9, after the National Assembly members-elect met with Tinubu at the State House.
The lawmaker-elect stressed that the President is so prepared to serve the nation because he could sense the charisma, passion and belief that Nigeria can be a better nation for him.
He also pleaded for a more stabilised parliament to aid the President’s wishes for the country.
Ogar further noted that he is less concerned that he and Tinubu are from different parties and vowed to join him in the nation-building agenda.
Politics Nigeria recalls that Ogah was declared the poll winner by the Independent Electoral Commission on February 25 after garnering 11,822 votes.
