
President Bola Tinubu has mourned the death of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service and Sardauna Adamawa, who passed away on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 76.
In a condolence message issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Mustapha as a dedicated public servant whose contributions greatly enhanced the growth and development of the Nigerian Customs Service.
President Tinubu also paid tribute to the late elder statesman’s services to Adamawa State, noting that he would be deeply missed by his people and the nation at large.
He extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the government, and the people of Adamawa State over the loss of the respected traditional leader.
The President prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest in Alijanna Firdaus.
