The camp of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded 2023 general election, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is planning to appoint a key figure from Peter Obi’s presidential team as a minister in his cabinet.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the Atiku-Okowa campaign council and a chieftain of the PDP, made the allegation in a post on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday.
Bwala said that Tinubu is “reported to want to cause a major upset in the Labour Party camp by appointing one of the key figures of the Obi presidential team into his cabinet as a minister.”
He added that the unnamed person has “agreed” to serve in Tinubu’s government.
