The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that President Bola Tinubu is unfairly blamed by politicians and individuals who ran Nigeria aground.
The spokesperson for the APC, Felix Morka said that almost all the leaders of the coalition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) are part of the people who plunged Nigeria into its current economic situation.
Speaking during an interview on Arise TV on Sunday, Morka said the APC would not lose sleep over the activities of the members and leaders of the coalition.
He said, “These are many of the architects of Nigeria’s misfortune that have now become totally generational.
“They are the architects of Nigeria’s economic stagnation. They are the architects of Nigeria’s incredible dimensions of corruption and underdevelopment and extreme poverty,” Morka said.
He further stated that Tinubu has only served Nigeria at the state level whereas most leaders of the coalition have been in positions of leadership up to the national level.
“This president has only been the governor of Lagos state. He’s never been on the national stage. Yet, the people who have occupied and saturated the political stage nationally today dare to suggest that this president is the reason Nigeria is on its knees,” Morka added.
