The newly appointed Chief of staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has assured Nigerians that they will enjoy dividends of democracy under the present administration.
In his June 12 Democracy Day message to Nigerians, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives assured that being one of those who fought for democracy, Tinubu will not disappoint the people.
Gbajabiamila congratulated the citizens for their commendable support for Nigeria’s democracy as they mark this year’s Democracy Day.
He described President Tinubu as a thoroughbred democrat, who is noted for his tenacious defence of democracy.
“President Tinubu will not shy away from bringing to bear the dividends of democracy Nigerians have been yearning for,” Gbajabiamila said.
He appreciated Nigerians for their continuous support of democratic government since the end of military rule in 1999.
Gbajabiamila urged Nigerians to remain united amid socio-economic and political challenges and requested prayers for leaders for God’s guidance and wisdom.
