Tinubu will overcome Nigeria’s numerous Problems – APC Support Group

The Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s strategies aimed at overcoming the socio-economic and political challenges facing Nigeria.

Prof. Muhammad Kailani, the Director-General of the group, made this assertion on Thursday while welcoming new members from opposition parties who defected to the ruling APC in Abuja.

Kailani expressed confidence that the obstacles hindering Nigeria’s progress were manageable, thanks to the government led by President Bola Tinubu, who has devised effective strategies to tackle these issues head-on.

He emphasized the wealth of human resources available to the party and the unwavering commitment of President Tinubu’s administration, assuring Nigerians that the nation would emerge stronger with the implementation of revitalized economic policies and enhanced security measures.

Welcoming the defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Kailani described their decision to join the APC as bold and commendable.

He assured them that together, they would work towards building a nation of which every citizen could be proud, fostering institutional strength and positioning Nigeria on a trajectory of sustainable development for future generations.

In response, Mr. Patrick Ogunyemi, the Vice Chairman of APC in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), affirmed that defected members would enjoy equal rights and opportunities within the party, including voting and contesting for elective positions.

He encouraged them to actively participate in advancing the country’s growth and development.

Speaking on behalf of the defected members, Malam Atiku Abubakar, former Secretary of NNPP, Nyanyan Ward, cited injustices, marginalization, and unresolved crises within NNPP as reasons for their move to APC.

The influx of new members into the APC reflects a growing confidence in the party’s ability to address Nigeria’s challenges and foster inclusive development, signaling a positive shift in the country’s political landscape
