Director-General National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, says President Bola Tinubu has what it takes to take Nigeria’s tourism sector to a whole new height.
Runsewe told NAN that the quality of advisers the president had appointed so far showed his administration was ready for business.
Runsewe noted that Tinubu displayed much passion for tourism and did a lot for the sector during his tenure as Lagos state governor.
The NCAC boss noted that while Tinubu was governor, he invited foreign investors to develop tourism in the state, in the areas of hotel registration, and grading, among others.
Runsewe pointed out that if the president had done all that as state governor, Nigerians should be ready for a turnaround of the country’s tourism sector.
Runsewe appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience and take things easy with the President.
