Tinubu’s ministerial nominee apologises to senators for his past ‘sin’

One of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees, Bosun Tijani, has apologised to senators for describing them as morons in an old tweet.

Tijani, who happens to be the CEO and co-founder of CoHub, appeared before the Senate for a ministerial screening on Saturday, August 5.

Tijani apologised to the senators for using such a negative and derogatory term in referring to them.

Addressing the Senate, Tijani said he is very passionate about Nigeria and committed to the country’s development.

The nominee said he tweeted due to his frustrating experience with the Chinese Embassy.

Senator Ishaku Abbo representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, immediately rose to Tijani’s defence, saying that the nominee tweeted out of frustration and love for Nigeria.

Also, Senator Solomon Adeola from Ogun West Senatorial District defended the nominee from his state, saying his “youthful exuberance” and “shortcomings” should be forgiven.

Adeola, who rebuked the nominee, said Tijani has what it takes to use his skills to develop Nigeria’s IT industry, saying the baby should not be thrown away with the bath water.

  1. Bosun Tijani DOES NOT DESERVE ANY SLOT OR ANY OFFICE OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF Nigeria.

When people like Bosun RUN DOWN their country they tend to forget and throw the future into the furnace for ashes.

THEY TURN AROUND TO OFFER EMPTY APOLOGIES WHEN THEY WISH AND OR DESIRES THE BENEFITS AND LARGESS OF THE COUNTRY THEY WANTED DESTROYED.

Bosun approached the hallow chambers before the same senators he called MORONS in a childish tweet of a toddler brain. I guess he never thought he could be here when he tweeted the belittling nonsense against his country.

HE MUST NOT BE MADE A MINISTER OF THE COUNTRY TO WHICH HE EXPRESSED A DISDAIN OF THE ROT OF HIS LITTLE MIND.

He is most unworthy and undeserving of office of a minister of the republic.
