Saheed Ire, a popular Yoruba Nation agitator on Friday asked people to disregard persons claiming to have seen a vision about Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.
This newspaper observed lately that several persons have released ‘vision’ about Igboho, who is said to be ailing, with some expresseing fear he would die in custody in Benin Republic.
But Saheed, who is a Fuji-pop artiste and a self-professed separatist, said many of the so-called seers are merely seeking attention, querying why they didn’t see a vision when the Department of State Services (DSS) invaded Igboho’s Ibadan, Oyo State home in July.
“Stop deceiving people. I don’t see vision, I only follow Yoruba Nation agitation due to ‘Orientation’ and the love I have for Yoruba. So if anyone claims he or she sees visions, that person should find a solution to it himself or herself. You don’t need to call anybody in the diaspora. If you do that, you are a swindler,” Saheed Ire said in Yoruba language in a Facebook Live monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA.
Igboho is currently in detention in Cotonou, Benin Republic following a raid on his residence by the DSS.
Charms and weapons were allegedly recovered from his residence during the raid.
Igboho was escaping to Europe when he was nabbed at an airport in the neighbouring country.
