A section of the state high court complex has collapsed on Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 12, around the close of work.
The judge was still in his chamber at the time of the collapse.
Justice Adeyeye is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital in the state.
The incident may not be unconnected with the structural deficit worsened by the torrential rainfall.
Politics Nigeria reports that no life was lost during the collapse, but the Chief Judge sustained a severe injury as a section of the office collapsed.
Meanwhile, it took serious efforts from workers before the judge was rescued from the rubble.
