Ahead of the verdict of the the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has sent a cryptic message to presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
This is even as the tribunal has fixed Wednesday, September 6 to deliver judgment on the election petitions filed by Atiku and Obi against President Bola Tinubu.
In a tweet on Monday morning, just few hours after the date was announced, Sani said: “Pontius [Pontus] Pilate cannot and will not remove Caesar.”
Although the former lawmaker declined further comment on the matter, most political watchers are of the opinion that the judgment may favour President Tinubu.
Meanwhile, the tribunal has said that it would allow live transmission of events that will play out at the venue of the declaration on Wednesday.
