United States Lawmaker, Riley Moore, has said that President Donald Trump will be provided with a full range of policy options to tackle alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria.
Speaking to Fox News, Moore said they are working to protect Nigerians from the ongoing killings.
“We are going to get right to work and get to the bottom of what is happening and give President Trump a full menu of options that we can use to try to stop these killings.”
The remarks come as Trump hinted at possible military intervention if the attacks continue.
Over the weekend, he warned that the U.S. could order military action should the alleged violence persist.
Meanwhile, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is expected to meet with Trump in the coming days at a summit in South Africa to discuss the situation.
