Another support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the lack of appointments from within their ranks.
Prof Kailani Muhammad, the Director General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG) raised the observation.
He said despite their contributions to Tinubu’s electoral success, they have yet to see any significant appointments of their members to government positions.
He said their involvement in the campaign and subsequent support for the administration merits recognition through appointments to various governmental roles.
According to him appointing their representatives would solidify their loyalty and enhance their commitment to the APC government.
He said: “If he does that, we will definitely back him. We want him to do the right thing. He should come and uplift the support groups. up till now, we have not seen any appointments.”
Kailani opined that the appointment of CASG members would lead to economic prosperity and physical upliftment of the country.
CASG President, Prof Chris Ogbonna, stated that the group facilitated the making of Tinubu’s dreams into reality as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to him, the group’s effort has deepened democracy in the country.
Recall that an APC women support group recently accused President Tinubu of abandoning them after the 2023 general elections.
