Veteran African and Nigeria pop musician, Chris Mba is dead.
Politics Nigeria learnt that the music genius died on Wednesday night at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH.
His death was made known to the journalists by his wife.
Chris MBA was made popular in the 80s with such songs like, Baby Don’t Cry , Take It To The Top , Money, Love Everlasting and many others
The Abia State born artiste died from complications arising from kidney problem.
His last public outing was in 2018 when he performed at an evening of tributes organised for the late Ras Kimono by the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) in August 2018.
Chris was a member of the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Caretaker Committee and COSON before his demise.
