Vice-President Kashim Shettima has inaugurated the Jumu’at Mosque constructed by the Muslim Ummah within the premises of the National Assembly.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Shettima attended the event on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During his speech, the Vice President said his presence at the commissioning was a gesture of solidarity with the Muslim Ummah in the National Assembly.
He emphasised the importance for leaders to demonstrate humility while fulfilling their duties in positions of power. He encouraged them to prioritise projects and charitable endeavours that contribute to their spiritual journey and the welfare of society.
