Wanted criminal surrenders self to Nigeria Police Force in Kano state

The police command in Kano has announced that it has in its custody one of the notorious criminals in the northern state, Nasiru Abdullahi (aka Chile Maidoki).

The police commissioner in the state, Mohammed Usani Gumei, on Saturday, August 5, disclosed in a statement that Chile surrendered himself to the command recently.

CP Gumei told reporters on Saturday that Chile surrendered himself to the officer of the police command after he heard of the N100,000 bounty placed on him for his arrest.

The police boss in Kano also revealed: “This brings to 100 the number of documented and profiled repentant criminals that have so far surrendered themselves to the police command.

“He is now appealing to the police and the good people of the state to forgive him that he has repented and is ready to work with the police to promote sustainable peace and development in the state.

“He is, therefore, not to be arrested by the police or stigmatised by members of the public.”
