‘We have over 500 roads, flyovers to commission’, Soludo tells Tinubu

The governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has said that over 500 projects are set to be commissioned across the state.

Soludo, while welcoming President Bola Tinubu to Anambra on Thursday, May 8, said his administration has been able to execute and complete over 500 projects, including roads, flyovers and bridges.

The governor also described the president’s visit to the state as “historic and consequential.” He said Tinubu’s presence in Anambra signals a new era of collaboration and shared progress between the federal and state governments.

He also said that this collaboration would be achieved under a progressive ideology.

“The last state visit by a president was in 2012, ostensibly to commission a brewery and another private enterprise. This visit is not just to commission projects. We have over 500 kilometres of roads, flyovers, and bridges completed and waiting for commissioning.

“What you commissioned today, Mr. President, are mere symbolisms of the audacity of our dreams for a new Anambra state. Like the Americans would say, you haven’t seen anything yet,” Soludo said.

The governor further commended President Tinubu for his economic reforms and infrastructural projects which the he said the Southeast region has benefited from.
