“We will use our hands to destroy Igboland” – APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, on Monday lamented the security situation in the southeast region, while condemning leaders in that axis for not speaking out enough against the mindless killings going on there.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Igbokwe made a flashback to the October 2021 razing of his home in Nnewi, Anambra state by hoodlums.

Igbokwe has repeatedly accused members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of being responsible for the fire, but did not provide incontrovertible evidence linking the group to the incident.

“Maybe it was foreigners that went to set my home ablaze in Nnewi. Pathetic and miserable liars from the pit of hell. Please tell that to the marines. We will use our hands to destroy Igboland,” Igbokwe wrote on his known Facebook page.

Most of the attacks in the southeast have been blamed on the members of IPOB, whose leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is in detention over charges of treason.

The IPOB leadership has, however, distanced its members from the attacks
