Asari Dokubo, leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force (NDPSF), has vowed to protect President Bola Tinubu from his enemies.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in a video that has gone viral, Dokubo was seen addressing his foot soldiers, who chorused their support for the president.
The Niger Delta activist said that those who are working against Tinubu will be dealt with.
“We thank God for keeping us alive. Whatever the enemies are planning, they will fail. I am here, you can see me, I am not a ghost, I just came from Saudi Arabia,” Dokubo said.
“We are here and thank God. We work for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and he will succeed. Anybody who is planning for him to fail, the person has already failed.
“We are not competing with anybody. As you see us, we have never competed with anybody. Thank you very much every one of you, you have tried, things are coming.
“Anybody who does anyhow, will see anyhow.”
Dokubo is known to be a staunch supporter of Tinubu and campaigned for the former Lagos governor ahead of the last general election.
Recently, Tinubu held a meeting with Dokubo at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The date the video of Dokubo’s address was made public cannot at this time be ascertained. However, in the video, Dokubo said he had just returned from Saudi Arabia and is not “a ghost”.
