Weeks to Adeleke’s swearing-in, Osun Tribunal admits Oyetola’s evidence

Osun State Election Petition Tribunal hearing the suit filed by Governor Gboyega Oyetola (All Progressives Congress, APC) on Tuesday admitted documentary evidence with regard to the claim that the governorship election leading to the declaration of Ademola Adeleke as Governor-elect was allegedly manipulated.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that among the documents admitted in evidence were the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Regulation and Guideline for the election, INEC Manual for Electoral Officials, Forms EC8As which are election results for Osogbo, Ede North and Ede South Local Government Areas (LGAs), among others.

This is just as Counsel for INEC, Paul Ananaba (SAN), declined consent to documents issued as Certified True Copies (CTC) by the Commission.

In his ruling, the tribunal Chairman, Justice Tertsea Kume, admitted in evidence all the documents tendered and marked them as exhibits.

After the ruling, the petitioners’ counsel informed the tribunal that the tendering of other documents would be continued on Wednesday, as the list of the documents to be tendered in the next sitting had been given to the respondents’ counsel to cross-check.

The tribunal then adjourned till the following day, Wednesday, for continuation of hearing.

Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is scheduled to be sworn in as governor of Osun State on November 27.

  1. WHO IS TALKING ABOUT SWEARING YET. OF COURSE, THERE WOULD BE A REINFORCED RENEWED AND REVALIDATED ONE

The moment the tribunal admits the evidence, means it is a game changer and over.

    1. Let leave the panel of judges to determined the fact. I know if money bags has not changed hands, then there will be Real True Judgement. God can not allowed ADELEKE to be cheated the second time. God for bids.
