Prince Kanu Meme, a younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Friday claimed that people who are not members of the group “can never see” its structure.
According to Kanu Meme, the ‘engine room’ of IPOB “hardly speak”.
“Those Who Make Things Happen Hardly Speak. The Structure Of Ipob Is In Ipob.An Outsider Can Never See It. Ipob Members Are Special Breed,” Kanu wrote on his known Facebook page.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that IPOB is pushing a secessionist agenda for the Igbo people of Nigeria.
This newspaper understands that backstage, there is a fierce struggle for power within the hierarchy of the controversial group since its leader, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Kenya in June. In his absence, there is no one with the authority and persona to instruct both the IPOB movement and its armed group, the Eastern Security Network, (ESN) with equal submission and reverence. The struggle has gone on viciously but never openly acknowledged.
