Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation in Nigeria, on Thursday said he is proud of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, ‘for standing with Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi after the terrible events in Jos’.
Recall that over 20 followers of the renowned Islamic cleric were killed in Plateau State last Saturday enroute to Ondo from Bauchi State.
Following the incident, Yahaya Bello on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi.
Bello described the act by hoodlums as barbaric, cruel, noting that the government at all levels are working to ensure perpetrators of the dastardly deed are brought to book speedily.
Reacting to Bello’s visit via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday morning, ‘FFK’ expressed his satisfaction.
“When you stand by those that have suffered loss & mourn with those that are mourning God never forgets you. Proud of my brother Gov. Yahaya Bello for standing with Sheik Dahiru Bauchi after the terrible events in Jos. May God grant us peace & may the souls of the departed RIP.”
