Adamu Garba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has predicted that the Labour Party “will fizzle out into oblivion”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that after over 20 years of its formation, pro-workers political organisation, Labour Party seems to be gradually making inroads into mainstream politics as the party secured six Senate and 34 House of Representatives seats in the February 25 National Assembly (NASS) elections.
It made inroads into the NASS, clinching six Senate and 34 House of Representatives seats. It also gave a good fight in the presidential poll, emerging third with over 6 million votes.
But Garba said the party will win only one gubernatorial seat in the coming Saturday election. He also stated that several politicians who won the NASS seat through the Labour Party may dump the platform soon.
At the end of the coming Governorship election, Eluu-Pee may get only one elected governor from Abia, Alex Otti and nothing else.
Almost all those voted on the eluu-pee platform May decamp to other political parties and the frenzy of LP will fizzle out into oblivion.
