Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), on Monday said the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), alongside bandits and insurgents, are threats to Nigerians.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Baba-Ahmed was reacting to the weekend razing of President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Professor George Obiozor’s country home in Imo State.
Gunmen on Saturday morning razed Obiozor’s residence, at Awo-Omanma Oru East Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State.
The attackers who arrived at the Igbo leader’s home in vehicles threw explosive devices at the house.
Obiozor was not at home when his house was attacked.
“My sympathies for my brother and compatriot, Prof George Obiozo, P-G, Ohaneze Ndigo over the recent attack on his country home. This is a reminder that violence knows no boundaries.IPOB, Bandits, Insurgents, Violent Criminals are threats to all of us and the need for safe future,” Baba-Ahmed wrote on his known Twitter handle.
