The former lawmaker that represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Magnus Abe, has said the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, cannot win the 2023 election because he lacks the “practical ability to deliver on the expectations of people”.
Abe said this while speaking on Channels TV’s Political Paradigm programme, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA on Tuesday.
“You see all this issue of popularity can’t be decided by WhatsApp, by Facebook. Nobody can take away what Peter Obi is adding to the politics of this country.
“Win or lose, he emboldens the boldness of the kind of democracy that we will all like to see. But in terms of practical ability to deliver on the expectations of people…Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State, he doesn’t live there. And all these things that he is going to do, they are not in existence in Anambra,” Abe said.
