Media entrepreneur and presidential hopeful in the 2019 and 2023 elections, Omoyele Sowore, on Thursday said Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, suing online newspaper, People’s Gazette, “will be his worst mistake”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to Sowore, if the Labour Party candidate enforces his threat to sue People’s Gazette over a leaked telephone conversation between him and Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners’ Chapel, it will be “worse than his misadventures in politics”.
Sowore insisted that Obi lied that the audio released by People’s Gazette is fake.
“The whole threat of a defamation/lawsuit by @Peterobi against @GazetteNGR will be his worst mistake, worse than his misadventures in politics and tomfoolery.
“A lawyer fresh out of Law School will make a mincemeat of the LYING MACHINE in court. I am standing with @GazetteNGR and hope they don’t let any pressure make them capitulate.
“I know for sure @Peterobi won’t sue nadir over his YES DADDY “Religious War” phone scandal. it is all huffing and puffing to scare @GazetteNGR,” Sowore wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
