“Wike Loves Drama” – Atiku’s Aide Reveals Why PDP Has Not Yet Suspended or Expelled Wike

Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council has warned that it will expel Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike if he continues to defy the party’s leadership.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that he said the party is aware of Wike’s recent statements and actions, and that he will face consequences for his behavior.

“The quietness of the party is not weakness…the party knows what it is doing,” Bwala said. “At the appropriate time, he (Wike) would not only be suspended but expelled. Take that to the bank.”

Wike, a former Rivers State governor, has been critical of the PDP leadership since losing the party’s presidential nomination to Atiku Abubakar. He has also refused to resign from his ministerial position in the government of President Bola Tinubu, who is a member of the rival All Progressives Congress (APC).

Wike has said that he remains a PDP chieftain despite working for the APC government. “I want to support Asiwaju (Tinubu) to finish well,” he said.

Wike dared the party leadership, saying he has not seen the party chieftain who will suspend or expel him from the party.

“Who will discipline me? I should be the one calling for the discipline of these people who violated the party’s constitution, in the way that the party supported rotation.

“Who will suspend me? I want to dare anybody,” Wike said.

The ex-governor said he informed PDP leadership before he took the ministerial offer of President Tinubu.
