A new video showing ministers singing President Bola Tinubu’s popular “on your mandate” song during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting has emerged.
The song is usually sang to show allegiance to President Tinubu by his supporters and follows.
According to the 35-seconds video shared by X (Twitter) user, @A_Feranmi, the president’s appointees chorused lyrics of the song with their fists high while standing before Tinubu.
But some Nigerians have, however, expressed their disappointment with the action of the ministers.
@Utok_4 wrote: “I don’t think anything can shock me again in this administration. Maybe it’s only downhill from here. We’d better brace ourselves.”
@AremoAmir wrote: “Lol.. this is a gang not leaders who do not care or want a working Nigeria. Let’s pretend we didn’t know this before now and act surprised! The people needs to wake up now and smell the coffee.
