Former Ogun State Governor, Chief Segun Osoba, has urged the South-West to fully back President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stressing that unwavering support is essential regardless of any personal grievances or challenges.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zone Assembly meeting held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Osoba stated that the region must stand behind Tinubu for his current term and to secure a second term in office.
Osoba noted that Tinubu is the first leader of the progressive political movement to hold the nation’s highest office.
“We cannot and should not allow anyone to derail our democracy under Tinubu,” Osoba insisted.
He also stated that the future of Nigeria under Tinubu’s leadership takes precedence over any ill feelings people may have towards the president or his administration.
He added that no money was left in the national treasury for subsidy when Tinubu took office.
