A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode, has mocked the Northern Elders Forum led by Ango Abdullahi for the comment made by the Presidency about the group.
Recall that the NEF Chairman, Abdullahi in a statement on Sunday, said that the killings in some northern states was an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed woefully in terms of security and welfare of the citizens.
But in a counter statement signed by the Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, the presidency described the position of Prof. Abdullahi as “mere irritant and featherweight.”
But in a tweet on his Twitter handle on Monday morning, a staunch critic of the President, Fani-Kayode said Ango Abdullahi deserves to be attacked by the presidency.
According to the former Aviation Minister, Ango Abdullah has supported the barbaric savagery of the Fulani herdsmen in the country.
He tweeted: “No-one in Nigeria has supported the barbaric savagery of the Fulani herdsmen more than Prof. Ango Abdullahi. He is even more of an extreme hegemonist, religious bigot, and ethnic supremacist than @MBuhari.
“He deserved what he got from Femi Adesina and the Presidency today.”
